OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM NOA
“With deep sadness, we announce the official closure of Noa Beach Club.”
In its official statement published on 17 February 2026, Noa said that following recent institutional decisions, it was no longer able to continue operating at this location. The statement described the closure as an outcome that was not their choice and thanked guests, artists, partners, and staff for being part of the venue’s story over the years.
AUTHORITIES’ STATED BASIS
According to publicly reported explanations from the competent Croatian authorities, the removal formed part of enforcement action concerning structures that were not aligned with the applicable planning and documentation framework and/or lacked the required permits. In the related Noa Island Retreat case, the State Inspectorate also stated that unregistered hospitality activity had been identified and that it had acted in accordance with Croatian law.
